In February 2025, Wearin\u2019 joined the IMSA MotorSports training session in Sebring, Florida, to test its IoT solution alongside top endurance drivers from the Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) team. The goal is to enhance performance and safety by combining vehicle telemetry with real-time driver physiological data.<\/strong><\/p>\n

WTR\u2019s elite line-up featured Swiss racer Louis Del\u00e9traz, American brothers Ricky and Jordan Taylor, and Portuguese racer Filipe Albuquerque. Wearin\u2019s technology was tested in real-world racing conditions, measuring physiological data\u00a0to uncover new ways to improve driver safety and performance.<\/p>\n

Part of the Swiss technology group Conextivity, which has sponsored Del\u00e9traz since April 2024, Wearin\u2019 plans to leverage its AI-powered platform that integrates physiological sensors and real-time telemetry to create a seamless link between car and driver performance, enabling teams to make smarter, faster decisions before, during, and after a race.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The Wearin\u2019 platform collects real-time data through sensors powered by personalized algorithms. It can generate actionable insights that will allow to improve the racing team\u2019s decision-making process, making smarter calls during a race when it comes to swapping drivers, predicting performance degradation and fatigue, creating personalized physiological profiles of drivers, and classifying stress and cognitive load.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

\u201cWearin\u2019s data will help teams determine if a driver is pushing hard enough \u2013 or too hard,\u201d N\u00f3brega explained. \u201cIt will be able to predict fatigue or a drop in performance, potentially becoming a game-changer in endurance racing.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the test,\u00a0Louis Del\u00e9traz<\/strong>\u00a0was equipped with sensors in his cockpit and on his arm, capturing vital physiological data such as heart rate, body temperature and skin temperature.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Del\u00e9traz embraced the innovation: \u201cIn endurance racing, we can spend up to three hours in the cockpit, with temperatures sometimes reaching 50\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
